Who was the best round thief?

Back in the days, it was called stealing rounds.
I stopped using this term because I thought it was a little too misleading at times and I chose to say secured/securing the round.

Who, in your opinion, was the best round thief?
Who is the best round thief today?

I would say past, Sugar Ray Leonard.

Present? There has never been another Sugar Ray Leonard.

    Your thoughts.

Inside and outside the ring, I would say Bernard Hopkins.

ODLH was EXTREMELY good at stealing the rounds with last second flurries.

I would have to say Hopkins outside of Leonard, in recent years Hopkins has done well at stealing rounds, look at his fight with Eastman Hopkins won that fight only fighting the last 20 or 30 seconds of each round it was pathetic.

actually I think that someone with that low of a punch output shouldn't win the majority of his rounds yet somehow Nard always seems to do so simply by punching economically and making his punches count so I can see where people think he steals rounds
