Is it too late for Ricky Hatton to change his ways

Caught the f-word with Gordon Ramsey and from what I saw he is over seeing Hattons diet, so he doesn't baloon up in between fights. Hope this includes not binge drinking.

Is this too late in his career to make much of a difference. I'm sure the reason he cuts so easily is because of his bad diet.

    Thoughts on this.

It could help but I think a lot of damage to his body would have been done by now.

Yeah I was thinking it won't make a huge difference, but it's got to help a little and maybe prolong his career that little bit longer.

Rcky is going to fight twice this year and 3 times next year then he's going to retire. He anounced this earlier this year.

            5 more fights.

I know he say's that and seems very sincere, but he loves the game and if he wins his next few fights and there are a few big superfights out there he'll stay around a little longer than he planned.

Hatton will be Hatton, but I suspect he might rededicate himself like never before for another chance at Mayweather. Unless he shows overt indications of having slowed down or aged in this fight with Lazcano, I would imagine there's a chance he could prolong his run a little bit with improved care for himself. Once you start to slow it cannot be reversed, but I don't know if he's starting to red-line just yet. This fight should tell us alot. Looking forward to it. This will be pretty ****ing huge with the venue and all of that.

Co-sign. He's been doin his thaing the way he has for years and it's tough on a fighter's body to keep goin up and down in weight like he does.

It might be a bit too late but it will do him more good than bad.
