Give Kirkland a few years before putting him in against these guys, he hasn't even filled up at 154 yet. It'll take him a few years to move to 160 and he won't exactly be the biggest middlweight if he moves up. And I would like to see him in against better opposition before even thinking about him against the top guys at 154 much less 160.

i was also thinking how good he could be 160. he's got an exciting style and im glad that networks like HBO are opening their doors to him now. before that they showcased him on shobox alot. honestly i love fighters like him, i know some people prefer talent and skills like mayweather but i prefer punchers who dont bull**** in the ring
what i really was thinking was the power. would it be the same at 160? i dont know. he has yet to fight a better competition at 154, but i was never to impressed with that division. once he done there, i really look forward to him stepping to the middleweight division.
right now i can see a guy like pavlik beating him. maybe in few years ill change my mind..Comment

Imagine, just imagine if he could drop to WW, there would be a few very interesting matchups there. I also think Joel Julio or PWilliams (Who I believe is going to be forced to jrMW soon) those would be interesting future matchups too.Comment

Kirkland by first round knockout, even though he doesn't have any defense, has the frame of a welterweight, gets hit a lot and with this being an unfair match up, he would stop Pavlik in the first round. Pavlik has never seen a welterweight like Kirkland before.Comment
