I think around 220,000-275,000 ppv's

and if it does so what? why do we have to concern ourselves with the business side of boxing when our first priority is to watch competitive boxing? I would honestly be surprised if it does more than 350 but its not something i want to focus on or concentrate.

the business of boxing is what has killed boxing in the mainstream. why would we want to continue with this rap like pissing contest? its like a fan of a rapper boasting about record sales you know what i mean? what about the music?

true. it would just be nice for posters who are expected to say certain things switch it up and be enthusiastic about their favorite fighter's possible opponents instead of constantly criticizing. i give floyd his props from time to time. i going for Pacquiao against Diaz. my fanhood would be wack if all i ever did was be a fan of just one fighter. maybe im just being idealistic like those hippies.

I don't know! I hope it does well. Miguel hasn't sold to well and margarito has neverheadlined a ppv. But i'm more interested in the fight. This fight is going to be great! If it only sells 10,000 ppv does that mean the fight wasnt great? If your not a boxing fan you probably dont know these guys because they dont make much noise outside of boxing. But if your a fan this is almost a dream fight a clash of styles and im looking foward to it. I'll put it this way. I could have easily went to the first floyd oscar fight but didnt think it was worth it. If this fight was on the east coast i was flying my ass out there to watch this great fight!

In a perfect world you argument about Business having nothing to do with fights would be a perfect Argument....

But this isn't a perfect World.....and business is apart of the argument....
Because as we all know PPV's Sales is the real indicator of Success in today boxing world..... (like it or not, PPV's have now became apart of the equation)

In all reality Pay Per View Sales does matter as apart of Stipulation Games that all fighters play with Other....

The Stipulations Game From Floyd to Cotto..

Some of the same arguments used against Cotto vs. Floyd
were being used against Floyd vs. Oscar

Some Floyd Fans are just using the same standard and credible stipulations Place on Floyd...to fight Oscar....

On Cotto vs. Floyd ..

Us Floyd fans had to wait 6 years for Floyd to Fight Oscar...
So how you think we felt about that....

But we didnt ***** and complain as bad as you cotto fans are doing...
We just set back as we watch Our fighter stack up victories and boost his market appeal and boxing prestige so he could get a fight with Oscar...

We Waited 6 years for the fight to happen....

Soo.....now you Cotto fans know how it feels to be fan of a fighter when credible stipulations and standards are put on your fighter as to why he might not fight another fighter THAT YOU WANT HIM TO FIGHT

and it makes you mad when those arguments are credible why the fight might not happen or why it isnt happening...

So basically it is ok for Oscar to make Floyd meet all his stipulations and standards... which amounted in Floyd waiting for 6 years....For Oscar to fight Floyd

and it is ok that SRL made Hagler Wait until he meet all his stipulations and standards... which amounted in Hagler waiting for 7 years For the SRL vs. Hagler fight to happen

But it is not ok for Floyd to make Cotto meet all his stipulations and standards... before the Floyd vs. Cotto fight can happen..!!

Double Standard once again....


But here is the common factor in any those situations,
1. the fight eventually happen
2. When the fight happen it was the biggest thing in Boxing....!!!


So why Cant Floyd follow a successful Format...!!
