If Cotto ends up beating Margarito, there is going to be a lot of posts that are easily bumpable to say...

"Cotto fans, what the **** are you celebrating? You gave an average fighter his 6th loss!"

Because it is the Cotto fans who are calling him the average fighter with 5 losses.

And if Cotto loses... he will have lost to an average fighter with 5 losses, which pretty much means his career is over.

Common sense should tell people that the more you degrade the opponent, the more you degrade the accomplishment if you win. Only a moron would think that this is an easy fight (going in) for Cotto anyway.

Pre-Fight
Mayweather fans: HATTON SUCKS, TOO SMALL, DOESN'T HAVE A CHANCE!
Hatton fans: Perfect style to beat Floyd, will TKO him in 10.

Post-Fight
Mayweather fans: Hatton was a very credible opponent, and the size issue doesn't matter.
Hatton fans: He was too small to be fighting at WW anyway, not a good win for Floyd.

I think it's fair to point out his performances against Clottey, Santos and Williams, and it's also fair to point out Cotto's performance against Torres and quite possibly Corley.

Isn't what this is all about?

To be honest there was really no "he's too small" just "really overrated"
