the loss in the first mccal fight was because of inexperience. you guys say how wlad got better with manny in his corner, how about saying that lewis also got better with manny in his corner. it's not uncommon having little flaws in your defence, they always improve within time.

in the first rahman fight lewis had no respect for rahman's power. just like wlad had no respect for sander's power. plus lewis was seriously undertrained in that fight.

not taking away credit from oliver or hasim, those were good punches, and they deserved to win.

you saw what happened in the rematch both times. when did wlad ever avenge his losses? once, and against a fighter with detached retina.

Brewster's eye was 100% for the rematch, he stated that in interview BEFORE and AFTER the fight, Brewster said the eye was not a factor at all, he was just outclassed by the superior fighter and he quit.

Wlad would've KO Sanders and Purrity in rematches and you know it.

In the real fight, Lewis would have honesly destroyed Klistchko. He can take a better punch, has the better boxing skills, better stamina and is a lot more elusive. Wladimir wouldn't have beaten the oppisition that Lewis beat as well like Mercer, Tua, Holyfield (even at his age at the time),Ruddock ect and Lewis would have blown out Wladimir's competition.

klitschko's management team was smart to call for a remacth when the news of brewter's eye problems surfaced, and right after his loss against lyakhovitch. it was then or never for lamon, and he wanted the payday. of course he wouldnt say that he had problems before the fight to prevent the commission from letting him fight. and he's not the type of fighter who would use excuses after the fight.

ray leonard also had retina problems. when he got back into the ring he also claimed that his eyes were fine when in fact they werent. and everyone today knows it.

          same thing with joe frazier.

these are fighters who dont make excuses and go into fights regardless of their medical issues

unfourtanetly i could not say the same of Quitaly

and yes if it makes you happy i do think wlad would have beaten purrity in the rematch, but not peak sanders.

If Lewis connects on WLAD's chin, it's lights out for WLAD.

All Wlad needs is one right hand on the chin and Lewis is finished...Look at what McCall and Rahman did to Lewis with ONE PUNCH....Wlad vs Lewis could go either way IMO. And Wlad would've definitely beaten all of Lewis' competition....Lewis beat an old washed up Tyson and a faded Holyfield...Wlad KO's that Tyson and wins a UD over that faded Holyfield, Wlad KO's Ruddock, wins a UD over the much smaller overrated Tua and Wlad already destroyed Mercer in 6 rounds.

Exactly, Lewis was KO'd twice with ONE PUNCH....Wlad hits harder than Rahman, McCall and his brother Vitali....One right hand on the chin from Wlad and Lewis is KO'd.

Brunno connected on Lewis's chin alot and he didn't knock him down. Bruno is a massive puncher as well. I am one of the few that says that Lennox had a pretty solid chin. Throughout all of the biggest punchers that he fought, he was only caught by punches that he couldn't see by opponents that he over looked. Tua, Mercer, Ruddock, Bruno and Bone crusher smith is better and hits a lot harder than MCcall and Rachman.

Lewis took bombs from Wladimir's bigger bro without going down, his chin is a little underrated. He only went down twice in his career and he fought some bombers.
