Super middleweight Henry "Sugar Poo" Buchanan (16-1, 11 KOs), newly signed to Sycuan Ringside Promotions, will appear on the undercard of the previously announced June 25th Playboy Mansion card headlined by former lightweight champion Julio "Kidd" Diaz (34-4, 25 KOs). Buchanan will face a foe to be named. Also scheduled is unbeaten cuiserweight prospect Shawn Hawk (16-0-1, 14 KOs) against Eric Fields (11-1, 9 KOs). The annual invitation only event at the Beverly Hills hot spot, will be televised by ESPN2.
Diaz is also waiting to find out who his foe will be. "It doesn't matter who I'm fighting," he said confidently. "I'm a seasoned veteran and seasoned veterans know how to figure out a fighter within one or two rounds. My opponent will understand how tremendous of a predicament he's in once the bell rings!"
