Lots of the US posters on here who slag off British fighters excuse themselves by saying "its just that their fans are so annoying" but in reality what do those fans really do? That's right, they say that they think their British fighter will win! Controversial! Too many people here choose to see opinions different from their own as the most grave crimes against received boxing wisdom. They aren't they're just opinions, and if they're backed up by reasoning, they're valid, whether they issue from the keyboard of a tea drinking, snaggle toothed limey or not.

Seriously though, American fans are crap. I mean the most you hear at a baseball game is a half-assed attempt at "You suck, you suck". British fans are the best in the world, to be even amongst them is the greatest experience you'll have at an event, the atmosphere is just amazing!

Never been to an American sporting event to compare.

To be fair. I watch the superbowl that's an incredible spectacle. Even though I have no idea what is going on.

That **** still is the biggest fixture in world sports finacially apparently just ahead of the CL final.
