***** street? LOL. No. ***** street is where Cosme Rivera went whenever Zab caught him flush. Cotto was stunned. If he was on ***** street, I highly doubt he would have been able to slip the 3 or 4 follow up shots. But I guess if you consider that being on ***** street, then you'd have to say the for Mayweather when he was left reeling back into the ropes in round four from a Judah straight left , or Tszyu the two instaces in round one when Zab caught him and had him tying up.

IMO, Zab's uppercut is much more lethal than Tony's.

Whats the point of this thread?

        Showcasing Cotto's heart and determination?

        I like it.
low blow in rd 1 saved his untarnished record...

Not in combination on the attack, but Marg could never time and place a counter that perfectly.

That was an absolutely perfect punch that Zab didn't duplicate. Because of it I thought Shane would knock Cotto out. But in twelve rounds Shane never landed like that on Cotto, and Shane is much faster and more accurate going backwards or forwards, on the attack, in combination, or on counters than Marg is.

          There's no issue here.

I wouldn't call that ***** street. He got caught with a good punch. Wow!!! I've never seen a fighter get caught with a good punch before.

What's his record? What happened later in that fight?

I can sit here and post videos of Cotto destroying opponents all day, not just catching them with a good punch in the first round.

I agree... Zab's uppercut is pretty damn formidable. And it's the only punch to really have hurt Cotto at WW. Comparing the two punches isn't valid, imo. Zab's power comes from speed. Marg's from force.

Thanks burner for putting up that video, I also watched the rest of the fight. Cotto can take it and he'll give it back to you in droves. Judah landed a big shot he took it in stride and then came back an gave Judah the beating of his life.

Margarito is as good as dead, he will be broken worse than Judah. His chin is going to be his worst enemy and after Cotto's done with him, he'll wish he would've gone down in the first.

You dont need to be a huge puncher to hurt someone. I think the accumulation of punches that Mayweather would land on someone who is as open as Cotto would be enough to finish him before the 12th round. Mayweather has a much tighter defence than Zab Judah, his style will allow him to absorb Cotto's body attacks with his left arm and just pick him off with counters when he is wide open. Cotto is a great fighter but doesn`t have the speed of punch and a great jab to beat mayweather. He's too flat footed and would get picked apart.
