Both guys are incredible talents and it is a requirement that they fight. Many overlook Cotto's incredible skill as he masks it somewhat with a roughhousing style, but he is an offensive dynamo.

I think both of them if they fought now, would be the most formidable opponent they ever faced.

        Floyd will KO Cotto.

Im sick of people disrespecting Floyd. These two will eventually fight, and it won't even be close.

Cotto relies on these round house body punches. And while he can punch straight, he then gets hit in return.

When Cotto opens up Floyd will have a field day, easily picking him off.

So stop disrespecting the greatest fighter in the sport today. He will win a UD when and if these two fight. And he will beat Magarito even more comftorably. Whoever he fights, he will win. He will retire undefeated.

            Stop Dissing Him Everyone!!
I agree Cotto is NO MATCH for a fighter like Floyd, check out Cotto vs.Torres he just can't take a punch without getting rocked also his style is so basic pretty much straight foward with no good foot work.Same with margarito except he can take a punch which against Floyd he'd get murked for 12 rounds if they don't stop it b4 then.

Cotto has the best chance to beat Floyd, and it will be Floyd's toughest fight. It's a fight that Cotto can very well win too.

Im giving people info on what Cotto would do in the fight. No giving half ass posts like

                "Floyd KO Cotto"

Cotto can win if he plays his cards right. The pressure can give Floyd a hard time. Cotto attacks arms and shoulders and the judges will probaly give more rounds to the person who fights more. In other words punch output.
I respect your opinion and all, but people have been saying 'pressure beats Floyd', 'judges favour agression' about opponents of Floyd's now for a long time. The thing is that so far, pressure doesn't beat Floyd, and in recent times it hasn't even troubled him. As for judges rewarding aggression, not in Mayweather fights they don't. They might want to, but Mayweather's potshots snapping home all night means there's always only one fighter they favour.

Round house body punches? That's new. Welcome to boxing.

Floyd couldn't KO an infant with a sledge hammer lets be serious.

Burner nothing you say is of value when speaking of boxing.

Go to the lounge and talk about whatever they talk about there.

You obviously have been watching Floyd (not boxing) for about a year now.

What does him caring about his fans have to do with him being able to beat Mayweather? Are you saying Floyd cares about his fans? Because last I heard he announced he'd be at a club giving money away and handed out counterfeit money - way to care about your fans Floyd!

Cotto hasn't beaten the top guys? After Cotto beats Margarito he will have beaten everyone in his division just about. Who has Floyd beaten? LMAO. Cotto hasn't been impressive as of late? Oh that's right I forgot once Floyd beats people they are worthless nobodies. So Mosley, Judah and anyone else Floyd fought first don't count. Can you find a way to discredit all these other fighters too? This is quoted directly from Top Ranks site...

He is experienced against top opposition and has beaten current or former world champions Shane Mosley (W12), Zab Judah (TKO11), Paulie Malignaggi (W12), Ricardo Torres (KO7), DeMarcus Corley (TKO5), Randall Bailey (TKO6), Carlos Maussa (TKO8), and Cesar Bazan (TKO11). He has also beaten previously undefeated contenders Carlos Quintana (TKO5) and Kelson Pinto (TKO6), as well as veteran contenders Muhammad Abdulaev (TKO9), Victoriano Sosa (TKO4) and Lovemore Ndou (W12).

What are you going to say about all the undefeated guys he beat?

Did he low blow all of them to victory?

                    Your reply is expected...

Cotto would do better than De La Hoya did.. Trust me.. and at De La Hoyas age.. That makes me very skepticle on Floyd beating Cotto easy.
