Definately, it's truly us, and the winner of course, who benefits. A win for Margarito puts him over the Moon. A win for Cotto is another feather in his cap, but only hardcore fans would appreciate it. There's no business sense in Miguel taking the fight in terms of risk versus reward.

If Margarito wins he will become a star. Cotto will stay a star even if he loses and Top Rank will have a new Margarito franchise in the West Coast to match the one they have in the East, with Cotto.

Margarito wins; and Arum's company will see tens of millions of dollars in profit over time. Margarito loses; and there is very little upend, very little profit overall and Cotto just keeps trucking along with no overwhelming boost created by beating Margarito, who will be inevitably devalued after his 6th loss and on his way out..

This isn't just about one fight. This is about a boxload of fights.
