Yes people have their own preferences based on their findings by trial and error, following what works best for them or following some one else tutorial.

My process for the most part is taking a file and running it thru vdub and save it to .avi then I run it thru Lemco VideoMaster by Touch Illusion.

I ran your wmv file thru vdub and it failed so I took straight to Lemco Video master and it worked just fine.

New vdub does have a new gif maker but it's result is bloated. I am looking for the way to make a file compressed as possible while still trying to preserve some quality. Lemco's program seems to deliver what I want in that area.

My question is, what did you use to make the video.

im using Sony Vegas 7. i'm in the process of learning the basics but im the type of guy that likes to run before he crawls so i go looking for tutorials of advanced effects and ****. THAT particular effect isnt that hard actually, its just the TWEAKING and getting the slowing and zooming just right.

Ah so you are using vegas 7.

I began using vegas 8 about 3 months ago and I am just like you, I run before I can crawl. I open it up and just try to figure it out on my own.
