            U constantly try to justify Floyd's actions buy using money as an excuse. You would try and justify Floyd's decision to rematch Gatti if the money was right.

                                Then it must be the attention whore in him coming out then. What other reason would he have to announce a retirement, other than craving attention? He doesnt realize it yet, but he will NEVER be able to aww the the boxing world the way fighters like Tyson, and SRL did while in thier primes.
