These hypothetical fantasy matchups are always tough to predict. Their common opponents were Judah, Sharmba and Hatton.


--Both destroyed Sharmba, Kostya far better versions of him.

--Kostya destroyed Judah.

--Floyd destroyed Hatton.

--Hatton beat Kostya in a very rough fight, where the ref allowed infighting and roughousing, nowhere near the fighting that was allowed in Hatton-Floyd. Hatton fought at 140, where he's always looked his best and where he should've stayed.

--Floyd beat Judah in an ugly fight with the bizarre WWE ****, but Floyd was knocked-down and Judah looked to be giving as good as he got, and better at times, until he gassed, a common theme with Judah.

Who knows? Both fought different versions of the same fighters.

Kostya had it all offensively, a devastasting right hand, a brutal left, and a great jab. Floyd is much better defensively, but has proved he can be caught and hurt by guys that can't punch anywhere near as sharp and precise as Kostya. Kostya would get over-aggressive, though, at times and pay for it. Floyd is much more cautious and measured. Floyd would've had that big reach advantage, and like many of his fights that may make the difference. But Kostya had reach disadvantages against Hurtado, Judah, etc. Floyd might be able to jab and duck and lead-right-hand his way to a close decision. I wouldn't feel comfortable enough to ride a dime on Floyd, though, put it that way. Intriguing match-up. One I was really hoping to see way back when.

I think Floyd would smoother him and beat him on the inside. Kostya needs distance for his money punch if PBF is up close he is at an advantage. I amsure he would also use movement to his advantage but would not stay on the outside when attacking.
Kostya would need a kayo to win and Floyd could win both routes, but i would go PBF decision. Would have been a great fight to see to bad injuries and other fights got in the way.

True.. Judah is much faster then Mayweather and has more pop.
But Mayweather is a much smarter fighter and a lot harder to hit.
I still go with Mayweather.. though it would have been a close fight.
It's too bad we never got to watch this fight.
It would have been great to actually know for a fact.

Judah had KT watch the first couple of rounds got over confident and he was chinney which we now know is in his makeup , if he had of boxed smartly he would possibly have won the fight , on top of that Judah is a more smarter mature fighter now , still chinney but a lot more mature and seasoned , he was very green when he fought KT , wanted a rematch badly but was never given the chance , I know for a fact KTs camp were very wary of the Judah fight and never wanted a rematch , they got the win and didnt want to risk the fight again .

Same here. Mayweather to quick and good from the outside. Mayweather would fight boring, but would win rather comftorablky.
