Lazcano: "I Will Beat Hatton, Then Mayweather"

Ricky Hatton has been the best fighter on the planet (at Light-Welterweight, I mean) for many years now, but I feel that he is now past his best.
I have to say that, as a huge Hatton fan, it would not surprise me to see young Lazcano get a victory over the Englishman.
I hope that I am wrong because I have met Ricky on many occasions and he is a very friendly man and I love his huge amount of charity work, but I feel that he will never recover after moving up to a totally unsuitable weight division and getting knocked out.Comment

There's nothing young about Lazcano. He's been finished since Jose Luis Castillo beat him down in 2004. He's coming off of a year layoff after losing to an equally finished Vivian Harris, yet still is being considered for a title.Ricky Hatton has been the best fighter on the planet (at Light-Welterweight, I mean) for many years now, but I feel that he is now past his best.

If Hatton loses to Lazcano it will be the lowest low imaginable.Comment
