Ricky Hatton has been the best fighter on the planet (at Light-Welterweight, I mean) for many years now, but I feel that he is now past his best.

I have to say that, as a huge Hatton fan, it would not surprise me to see young Lazcano get a victory over the Englishman.

I hope that I am wrong because I have met Ricky on many occasions and he is a very friendly man and I love his huge amount of charity work, but I feel that he will never recover after moving up to a totally unsuitable weight division and getting knocked out.

The man would be destroyed by the great Floyd Mayweather.

There's nothing young about Lazcano. He's been finished since Jose Luis Castillo beat him down in 2004. He's coming off of a year layoff after losing to an equally finished Vivian Harris, yet still is being considered for a title.

If Hatton loses to Lazcano it will be the lowest low imaginable.

Are you including the time that Mayweather was also at 140?
