Lazcano isnt going to beat anyone.
His most notable win to date is ben tackie...
he's lost anytime he's stepped up in class; like losing to Jose Luis Castillo for example.
I understand this guy wants his time to shine and collect a nice payday buts its not happening...
I give him very little chance to beat hatton (EXTREMELY little chance) and i definately dont give him a snowball's chance in hell to beat floyd; let alone even make it remotely interesting.
I give arturo gatti (not prime gatti but CURRENT gatti) a better chance at knocking out mayweather in the very first round than i do lazcano winning a decision or even making it remotely close.
Floyd would either knock him out or win at least 11 of the rounds in the fight...
if lazcano won two rounds then he fought the fight of his life and then some...
If he wants to call out someone call out a joshua clottey or a luis callazo...not a floyd mayweather...Comment

That's correct. Mayweather has a greater reach than some heavyweights (74" as compared to David Tua's 72").
Mayweather is not a small welterweight, he's about the same height and reach as Adrian Diaconu, a light heavyweight.
Hatton is small even for a light welterweight with 20" arms, 65" reach and at 5'5" or 5'6".Last edited by Ben_London.; 05-18-2008, 09:49 PM.Comment

It is not where you fight. It is what you weigh. Guys fight at various divisions for a multitude of reasons. Roy Jones has more fights at heavyweight than Haye. But is Roy bigger than Haye?
Hatton fought the vast majority of his career two divisions above Floyd. Ricky has 43 fights at 140+. Floyd has ~10 at 140+.
Ricky is 154 lbs on fight night. Floyd is 148 pounds on fight night. In his entire life, Floyd has never weighed as much as Ricky does.
Is any of this inaccurate?Comment

Boxing is built on weight divisions. They have weigh-ins....not reach-ins. Guys "make weight". They don't "make height".That's correct. Mayweather has a greater reach than some heavyweights (74" as compared to David Tua's 72").
Mayweather is not a small welterweight, he's about the same height and reach as Adrian Diaconu, a light heavyweight.

Not only is Mayweather a small welterweight, he may be the smallest of the welterweights. He and Zab.Comment
