And while they may have been decisions in Johnson's best interests, think about all of the undercard fighters who were left hanging and wasted time training for fights that never happened as a result. There was the risk/reward factor, but George should have gotten the shot at Johnson.

George was a no name that didn't attract any big money or attention. When Johnson fought Hugo Pienda, he was preparing to fight Chad Dawson becuase Pienda was a southpaw, as is Dawson. Who has George beaten or what has he done for Glen to want to fight him? He wanted Hanshaw becuase Hanshaw has sho box conender fame and would be a decent money fight. Reggie Johnson is a former champion and top conender in the 90s.

I must say g**** to you and your boy winning Friday night. I didn't think it would happen, I thought Byrd was going to outwork him. George should try to fight Chris Henry, Adrian Diaconu, Tavoris Cloud, Yusef Mack, or even someone like Thomas Ulrich. Diaconu might be too high, maybe Elvir Muriqi. A name fighter who will challenge George. I ee Shaunu now more as Ishe Smith of the LHW division. Just hope he throws more punches

I knew that there was only way Chris Byrd was going to win Friday night.

That was if he picked another opponent.

"No Joke" George has long been one of the most underrated fighters in the world and I've said it a few times. Diaconu would be a good fight but he won't take the George fight until after he gets his title shot with Dawson. Regardless, I think George stops him.

Elvir Muriqi would also be a good fight.
