    gamboa is the fastest fighter i've seen.

    correct me if i'm wrong, but this guy's hand speed is incredible, lightning quick.
    I've never seen anybody quicker than him.he is 1 of the fastest boxers i've seen.
    is zab judah or roy jones quicker?or anybody else that you can think of.

            he is very fast..i mean he was head hunting the last half of that fight and even though his opponent knew what was coming, the punches were still landing. very quick. I would like to see him go to the body more, i think he would of got a knockout if he did that.

              He's a lot faster than Gayweather (Gayweathers speed is overrated) don't know if he is faster than Judah.

                It is good, but nowhere near Roy Jones, even though Gamboa is at a much lower weight.

                It also dropped off a lot after a few rounds too.

                If Gamboa tries to rely on his speed and reflexes like Jones used to he won't make it. They put it well on HBO last night. Leaning back to avoid punches is fine when you're 6'3" and your head ends up far away, but when you're 5'6" like Gamboa your head is still there to be hit.

                  Roy in his absolute prime was the fastest great fighter I've ever seen. The very fastest fighter I've seen was a guy named Eddie Hopson who held the 130 lb title briefly in the early 80's. Unfortunately for Hopson, he had no chin and his other boxing skills were much more limited than Jones.
