Ricky Hatton has vowed to not end up like "Prince" Naseem Hamed. During the late 90's until 2001, Hamed was an undefeated superstar in Europe and the United States. He was drawing record crowds in both continents and set the standard for seven-figure paydays in the featherweight division. [details]

There's a fine line between ****y and smart. If he's smart and takes winnable fights he'll be ok but like mangler said if he keeps getting involved in unwinnable fights he will.Comment

Hatton has lost what made him great.
He is no longer humble or hungry.
He portrays that he is humble and that he is fighting at home for the fans yet he has sold 55,000 tickets and his fight with the unheralded Lazcano means nothing and is on Sky Box office.
If he wanted to give back to the fans he should have put it on ITV for free.
Hatton has fallen for the old Whore called MONEY.
It is a real shame and what is a bigger shame is that so many will buy into it.
I was offered tickets to see Hatton in Manchester against Lazcano but I politely refused.
The Ricky Hatton that made me a fan with his humble origins and high workrate is a thing of the past.
I still wish him luck but he is far from the man he was up until the Kostya fight.
R.I.P Ricky.Comment

If he really was giving back to the fans then a ****ty fight against Lazcano, a guy hardly anybody has heard of wouldn't be on PPV!! He should have it on ITV for free. In december we all stayed up until 5am to watch him get ****ed up and he repays us by charging us £15 to watch him fight a nobody.Comment
