not to mention possible catchweight fights between those at lightweight and welterweight...
thats also a possiblity; not to mention many fighters at 130-135 either come in as a welterweight on fight night (ie. pacquiao came in 146 on fight night against marquez this last time)...
and some will be moving up...
so we could see a ton of fights made from 130-147; even guys moving up for catchweight fights.
i think these two division will continue to overall drive boxing at the moment...of course there is plenty of talent in almost any division (with a few exceptions) but these two division by far are the most stacked currently.Comment

It's a possibility but I wouldn't look forward to it, their promoters won't take the risk because the 135 pounders would be the naturally smaller men compared to the guys fighting at welterweight, unless there's a huge payday involved.not to mention possible catchweight fights between those at lightweight and welterweight...

thats why i see someone like pacquiao doing it because the money would definately be there...especially against a mayweather or even the winner of hatton/malignaggi (at 140 obviously)...
i dont see guys like peterson doing it...but the established names like pacquiao...Comment

Gamboa should not be included on the lightweight list... people are getting way ahead of themselves here.Comment

Actually, I've been slagging Gamboa quite a bit tonight, so I probably shouldn't have suggested him for inclusion on the LW list. His talent does give him the potential to be a credible threat though, IMO, its just whether or not he can live up to it anytime soon.Comment
