I really like this Angulo guy. Nice guy with pretty good boxing and likes to brawl. Kirkland I think will lose when he steps up IDK why but to me he seems like a guy who will bum rush and then get caught one day and it's lights out.
Because I only saw the Gamboa fight (thanks for screwing up the channels Sopcast), I will go with Gamboa by default. Although I did hear that the Angulo fight was a barnburner...
I was impressed by all three, but one could easily see that Gamboa is by far the most athletically gifted. He was up against the most difficult opponent in Jiminez.
He ko'd the very tough Richard Gutierrez who had gone 12 hard rounds with Joshua Clottey and barely lost that fight. I remember watching that fight and being impressed by both Clottey and Gutierrez and to see him get stopped by a guy who is 12 - 0 is very impressive.
Great night at the fights I'm glad HBO is investing in the future, I'll take these cards all day compared to Calzaghe vs Hopkins **** fest.

Pretty much my thoughts. So Angulo.
Gamboa dispatched a decent opponent himself though, and hes has awesome speed, but I hate how he keeps his goddamn hands down.
kirkland was in with an opponent who clearly shouldn't have shared the same ring with him, and Yuriorkis Gamboa was the best because he couldn't even be hit most of the time. And he was entertaining to because he constantly punched and tried to make it a fight but he clearly was alot better then jiminez.
I picked Kirkland because he's a ****in pitbull who is unlike any other fighter right now imo. I think Gamboa obviously is the more gifted of the fighters we saw, but honestly he did show his flaws tonight (mainly keeping his hands low and getting caught in the 4th), on the other hand Kirkland is a straight beast that tries to destroy his opponents early, which obviously has been working. And Albert is no push over, he's a guy that only lost once and as far as I know never been knocked down before. And he got destroyed by kirkland.
Either way, I was impressed with all three fighters. Even the Columbian dude that lost to Angulo was semi-impessive.
