His strengths are otherworldly. But his flaws are too glaring; and he's way too experienced to correct them. Good analysis.
Gamboa's future......

In 10 fights, he has been knocked down twice. Once against Darling Jiminez and the other against Adailton De Jesus. If he continues to fight like that, he will get knocked out I'm not sure how much improvement can be made for a 26 year old.Comment

He is at his 10th fight and showed wonderflus skills but some mistakes that can be fixed if he is given a solid amount of b-level fighters for a little while longer. His hands being low, his sustaining of power throughout a bout (which is odd because I hear he didn't take any deep breathes while in the corner), tucking his chin and the fact he got a bit more amateurish as the rounds wore on can all be fixed with time.Comment

Go on youtube, type in the DeJesus fight,do u think that was a knockdown, getting into a clinch and getting pushed down is a KD? That was clearly 100% no KD,even yesterdays fight was more to do with Gamboa trying to move while his legs where with Darlings, getting caught on top of the head and going down,he got up as quick
Another posters saying he hasnt got no power and a weak chin? I cant see a weak chin,he took heavier shots yesterday then the KD and basicly walked thru them, and no power? Jiminez has never been stopped,i dont even think hurt, hes a solid fighter, and Gamboa had him covering up and holding in the last 2 rounds, his face was a mess, against a guy with ONLY 10 FIGHTSComment
