So winning 9 out of 10 rounds, outlanding, outhrowing and busting Jimenez up, who has never been stopped, isn't enough?

        KayJay,

James has had the best chin in boxing in the past 20 years. If you look all time, he might even be # 1 in the chin department. Look at him now though, shot to ****ing pieces.

If he is that careless against the elite he'll be beaten.

Gamboa WASN'T supposed to walk through Jiminez. Gamboa ITD and Gamboa by decision were both almost even odds at around -100.

Great fighter, great skills, lots of promise but has to work on his defence . Needs more expirience, he's not quite ready for the big boys. Right now Jorge Linares would eat him alive.

Actually, alot of people said this was gona be a hard test, some people actually said Jiminez had a chance,Jiminez is a legit fighter,a very good fighter,Gamboa won 9 outa 10 rounds, the only round he didnt win was the KD round, which IMO,looked more of a balance thing,he got hit with harder shots earlier

And as other people have mentioned, Jimenez was considered to be his toughest fight to date.

Good god the mother****er is quick as all hell. He's like watching Roy Jones, only he carries less power. He's actually a lot like the present version of Joan Guzman, only a bit more offensive-minded, like Guzman was in his 122 days.

Jimenez fought very well considering what he was up against. He landed some very hard, very clean shots. One or two of them got Gamboa's attention....the other one knocked him down.
