Tyson VS Kimbo - Would Be The Most Watched Pay Per View Ever

“Call it a freak show or a circus or whatever you want, but it would be the most-watched pay-per-view event ever,” Shaw said.

There’s little doubt of Slice’s importance to Elite XC, the mixed martial arts promotional company that Shaw runs.

On the most important card in mixed martial arts history, it’s almost irrelevant what middleweight champion Robbie Lawler does. Or his challenger, Scott Smith. Or what all but one of the other athletes who will compete in the Elite XC show on May 31 at the Prudential Center may do.

    I don't think it will surpass DLH/PBF.

I hope this never happens. Mike is an out of shape, chronically injured old warrior. If someone here knows him personally, please talk him out of even thinking about this. He's a legend, he doesn't need this.

Gary Shaw is full of ****.

Kimbo Slice isn't very well known. He's had something like 2 legit MMA fights. The rest have been backyard brawls.

If he was such a massive PPV attraction he wouldn't be fighting on CBS on a Saturday night.

Mike Tyson's last 3 PPV fights failed to even come close to 500,000. Nobody cares to see Tyson anymore.

What makes anyone think that even 250,000 let alone 2.5 million people would pay to watch this?

It's all about the money. Kimbo is a limited fighter and they would never put him in against a good or a worldclass fighter cause they know he'd be ****d. Kimbo is a freakshow but he's big business. He's more well known that most of the biggest stars in MMA so as long as he keeps on winning it's good business. Tyson is a joke today so of course he's the perfect opponent for someone like Kimbo to look good against. They're going to feed him with overmatched over the hill motha****as as long as they can. Once Kimbo steps up and fight someone he'll get ****ed up. Tyson is not going to agree to do this though. **** Kimbo and everyone who supports him.
