    Lightweight Division...who survives?

    Joel Casamayor
    Nate Cambell
    Manny Pacquiao
    David Diaz
    Juan Diaz
    Julio Diaz
    Michael Katsidis
    Amir Khan
    J.A. Santa Cruz
    Jesus Chavez
    Anthony Peterson
    Joan Guzman
    Juan Manuel Marquez

Who survives...most most of these guys are in their primes and some moving up from 130 to chase Pacman

What an incredible division. So hard to pick a winner when virtually any of those fighters meet at 135.

Right now I'm not sure what Pacquaio will do at 135, you could imagine the much bigger Khan beating him for example, so I say that Casamayor is currently the best, with competition from Guzman. A little down the road, Khan comes out on top.

I still think its Juan Diaz's division. Casamayor and Campbell wont be around much longer. Any loss for them would be shattering to their careers. I am not saying a loss wouldnt be for Diaz, but being younger he does have a bit of wiggle room. I personaly think Amir Khan will move up to 140, i dont think he will be at 135 much longer. The verdict on Pacquiao at 135 will be answered when he fights a legit 135 pounder, David Diaz is just a tough guy who has been lucky to get a belt. So if i had to say, i think this division at the moment would be for Campbell, winner of Casamayor/Diaz if that happens, Pacquiao, Marquez, and Guzman. 135 is a very talened division, very underrated

I think Juan Diaz and Peterson are going to be the future of the division, I think the best now is Campbell because we haven't seen what JMM, Pacquiao and Guzman can do at 135 yet.

Guzman is unbeatable at lightweight and Gamboa will take over from Ortiz in a few years. And as for hype machine Khan? No chance.

Anthony Peterson will be the Champion - the top dogs are already avoiding him, he can make you look bad, and they know it.

Gamboa looks good, but Peterson would box his ears off despite Gamboa's power, Peterson's defense is just too good for the too short Gamboa and don't forget - Peterson has some nice power especialy to the body, the way he turns on a hook to the body is like watching a small version of Tyson, just beautiful and you ought to hear it land --- OUCH...

guzman is gonna make history and become the first 3 different weight class dominican champion not to mention he skipped 126
i see campbell, casamayor and david diaz as the weakest links despite they all being champions that tells u the quality of the weight class currently

Look at all the different opinions. I think Lightweight is easily the most exciting division right now.

Joan guzman is VERY underrated. That guy is the best out there right now.
In my opinion he should be p4p best.
