Wow, I was surprised Byrd looked that bad at Light Heavy. Even at age 37.

Its really too bad for Chris, he seems like such a nice guy andI really wanted to see him succeed at LHW...In my opinion he didnt seemed drained from losing the weight, it just seemed as if his old age and previous fights had taken its toll on him, i felt like he didnt even have any legs when the opening bell rang. Either way i wish the best for him...

Just a combination of getting older, lost reflees, losing like 35-40lbs of weight in a matter of months, and the beatings he took vs Wlad and Povetkin recently...

he was a great fighter..not all time great...but one of the best title holders in recent years

                    Chris Byrd is Done

                    Put a fork in him

His legs were shot, it was scary seeing him fall to punches that wouldn't shake him at all in his younger years.
