James Toney-Hasim Rahman Rematch in Talks

It appears we may get another helping of James Toney (70-6-3, 43 KOs) vs. Hasim Rahman (45-6-2, 36 KOs). Toney challenged Rahman, then the WBC heavyweight champion, in 2006 and the end result was a disputed draw that many scored as a win for Rahman. [details]

If toney comes around 210-220 the he wins otherwise he should retire

He allegedly took sterioids to compensate for a damaged pitutiary gland, and with that condition hes going to as usual have an awfully hard time coming in at 220.

I think if this happens and Toney loses, it will be his last fight.

Wake me up when this is over and tell me who wins, Toney could have had the world. He has the moves, we all know he has the mouth but as it has been said ''Many have the will to win, but few have the will to prepare to win.'' No other words I feel came some up Toney, the coulda been top pound for pound is now a fat heavy heavyweight.

This is great news! Toney was also in talks with Joe Mesi and possibly challenging WBA Champ Ruslan Chagaev? Toney had that fight v Rahman and dropped last two rounds for eventual Draw.

Word is Toney's in great shape and the time he's taken off will do his body and mind the world of good before his next big fight.
