Floyd tries to surround himself with ganstas like 50 cent. You might say that just maybe Floyd want's to be a rapper and I will agree with that too but he can't rap, which again makes him a wannabe.

No I don't so. He is influenced by the Hip Hop lifestyle that 50 cent lives but he isn't trying to be him. Labron James is friends with Jay-Z. Floyd is friends with 50 cent. Same thing. Muhamad Ali's antics come from a Wrestler named Georgeous George. Floyd's antics come from modern day Hip Hop.



Young Black and Rich.....all there is to it. Some of his over the top antics are nothing but a way to sell himself and put more asses in the seats. That's not posing, that's acting with a purpose. The boring characters like Shane Mosley don't get paid and didn't get paid as much in their prime because of their quiet nice guy act.

And Mosley was a pretty good fighter but you need more to get 10 and 15 mill paydays.

What he is sayin is that Floyd tries to act hard. When Floyd was a little boy and he was living with his grandmother, Floyd always wanted to go out and play with the other kids but his grandmother would not let him. Floyd would sit in his room and cry like Michael Jackson because he was not allowed to play with the other children. This would explain why Floyd acts so childish, I think Floyd wanted to be a little hoodlum and I think he wanted to be in a gang.

The sad thing about all of this is that there are so many kids who want to be gangstas and yet most of the old school gangstas are either dead, strung out or in prison. It is not the type of lifestyle he should be trying to promote. Floyd is not a very good role model and he should be. He delivers the wrong messege. He was raised by his grandmother and yet he acts as though he was raised by imaginary gang members. Floyd would not have made it as a gang member.

I don't see how you compare Jay-Z to 50 Cent.. both career wise and as a person.

Meh I like Cotto as a fighter, I believe he acts accordingly outside of the ring, a lot of it could be down to the language barrier though. One thing though he needs to be a little more ruthless against Gomez he should have sent the guy to the hospital it was quite obvious that he had won the match but Gomez corner to me wanted to take advantage of the fact that Cotto didn't want to seriously cripple someone. He should have continued to beat him senseless.

I was about to say the same thing. Real boxing fans don't need all that smacktalking **** to appreciate the sport and the better fighters in it. Either you're a true fan of the sport or you need the hype to enjoy it.
