i d love an upset....i like Pavlik alot but for some reason it makes me smile thinking about an upset here....maybe cos Lockett is British, maybe cos i love an underdog...

I dont think it will happen but i d be much more interested reading a story the next day about the underdog coming through a tough fight with the undefeated middleweight ubber king of the world than reading about the "expected" victory of the undefeated middleweight ubber king of the world...

This is the truth spoken by a true champion. I hope that Pavlik stays this "real" after a few more years of making super bank. After reading this, I cannot help but feel sorry for the poor Gary Lockett. No way he pulls the upset off. No way he goes 12 with Kelly. No way he hurts Kelly. He should probably no-show.

It's never wise to overlook an opponent, no matter how much better you are. I'm glad Pavlik is gonna see him as a "threat". Lockett does get destroyed though.

Pavlik is right, most of the champions in the higher weight classes are white.

                White and European champs:

Calzaghe, AA, Klitchko, Haye, Hatton, Pavlik

So we have the heavyweight, the cruiserweight, the suppermiddle and lightheavyweight, the middleweight and junior welterweight.

Pavlik has a point, I didn't look at it like that before. Amir Khan has a great chance of becoming a champ at 135 too.
