When you compare the careers of both these fighters. If things go to plan, Floyd Mayweather will win quite comftorably.

There is a very logical explination as to why PBF will never ever ever face Cotto or Tony whom by the way made Floyd cry in public because Floyd said he was retiring because he did not want to fight Antonio Margarito after his piss poor boring fight against Carlos Baldomir.

Mayweather is a great fighter , But!! to say he's in a class above Cotto and Margarito means what?? You can't say Mayweather is a better welterweight than the two because he's never proved it. Both Cotto and Margarito have fought the best welterweights in the world consistantly , Mayweather hasn't. No one is saying Mayweather isn't a great fighter but most of his fame in the last few years has been generated WWE Style, He fights blown up fighters [Hatton] or past there prime media darlings [Dela Hoya] and his fans fawn over him like little girls. The whole problem with boxing today is there are simply to many titles per weight division and fighters like Mayweather get tagged with meaningless awards such as the best " Pound for Pound" fighter like that means something when it doesn't. Mayweather knows how to sell an image and now to hear knuckleheads in the media say he's the greatest Welterweight just insults the fighters who campaign in the division and fight the best while Mr. Money fights "The Big Show" Right now the two best welterweights in the world are Cotto and Margarito since they've proven it , Mayweather should be listed in the bunch underneath those two. Perhaps if Mayweather's fans would stop buying his nonsence he might actually fight a REAL top level welterweight instead of a re-match with Dela Hoya which means nothing except he has the ability to be competitive against retired fighters. The same admiration was given to Jermain Taylor as Middleweight Champion and look what happened to him the first time he fought a REAL middleweight who was in his prime, I believe the great Jermain Taylor got put to sleep and isn't it funny how both Taylor's career as middleweight champion and Mayweather's career as welterweight champion were written out of the same play book. Spot on dude and what a great comparison to Jermain Taylor. I knew as soon as the contract was signed, that Kelly would knock out Taylor and expose his ass. I agree, the samething would happen to Floyd against a real fighter like Cotto or Margarito.
I was so happy when Taylor got knocked the **** out, just reminding me brings a huge grin to my kisser. lol
