What fight made you anticipate the most?

The possibility of the Pavlik- Calzaghe fight had me thinking. I'm still young so I can't say I've seen the old legendary fights like Hearns- Hagler other than through youtube. But I do remember some great fights that had me so anxious that I just couldn't wait for the opening bell. The one that just comes to the top of my head is De la Hoya- Tito. The hype at the time was nothing like any of the fights in recent memory for me. There was so much at stake with two fighters in their prime with no little annoying circumstances. It was just a superfight and the day couldn't come any slower. What about you guys?

I was excited for Kostya to fight Judah. It was a very interesting fight styel wise, and Judah was unbeaten and looking deadly up to that fight, while Kostya was nearing the end of his career. Anything could happen...we got the chicken dance!!!! Woot woot!!!

MAB vs Naz had me excited. I was hoping I would get to see Naz schooled, and I got what I wanted!!!

Diego vs Mayweather. Two unbeaten guys, in or near there primes.

Oscar vs Tito. Great build up and a hell of a fight (at least for 6 or 7 rounds anyways.)

Prime Tyson vs. anyone would get me excited every time!

Oscar vs. Mosley (the first fight). Two fighters I like who both needed to win the fight.

Most of all, MAB vs. Morales. I knew that was gonna be amazing before it happened, and the fact that we saw 3 classic fights is fantastic.

Tyson vs Spinks (stayed up all night and what a letdown)
Honeyghan vs Breland (I was there, and gutted as Breland dominated)
Honeyghan vs Starling (Hated Starling more than anyone in boxing, Raggamuffin man got beat by the mind games)
Chavez vs Taylor (What can I say)

So many others, but I find I don't get as excited nowadays as back then, except for the odd occasion, like Hatton vs Mayweather.

                    de la hoya/hatton vs mayweather

                    classic build up's.

in britain everywhere i went everyone was like i don't know anything bout the american (LOL!!!) but hatton is gonna batter him yeah?

I had to tell everyone that it was gonna be difficult for hatton, i think they were astounded when he lost and then went back to knowing nothing about boxing!!!!!

That is how to hype a fight
