hopkins vs byrd now who wins ??

Hopkins looked his age towards the end of the Calzaghe fight and we don't know how Byrd will look at 175. I do know one thing though, it would be a very dull fight. -
i never wanna see another hopkins fight. i know he's a legend and all, but his fights are horrible. i mean imagine if the fight had 2 berhards in the ring. i mean this guy makes ruiz and spinks look like tyson
it would be worse than what he did in the calzaghe fight. he wont worry about getting hit too hard so there'll be even more clinching. and byrd is not the type of fighter to get too physical so he's not gonna resist hopkins doing his thing.

Potential FOTY here. Hopkins lands a thudding right hand, the same right hand W. Klitschko landed on Byrd twice to KD him. The crowd is in shock. But Byrd's heart will play into the fight as he comes back to lands a vicious liver shot that puts Hopkins down for a 9 count. B-Hop holds on the rest of the way via spitting the mouthpiece out, pulling what many greats did before him such as Diego Corrales and Charlie Zelenoff. The crowd goes into a standing applause for these two warriors, giving non-stop toe-to-toe action for twelve rounds.

but seriously though with bernard's style i bet you cant even make it look exciting in the video game. i think the creators know that, so they gonna add a little bit of tyson in hop's character. otherwise it would just be too criminal to let hopkins be hopkins.Comment

OK.. i was gunna disrespect the **** out of you and get banned for your coward **** on another thread.... but here....you actually make sense...mind you.. im 1/2 drunk as usual......what about a fight with no ko no purse....make these super skilled guys (and they both are) really fight..
Or maybe no ko and the entire crowd gets to kick them both in the nuts?

lol it's all good, i have my own standards on things like that but doesnt mean that i dont enhoy a good debate.
to me there's a fine line on fighting smart and fighting for the lack of a better word scared. an example is floyd vs baldomir. carlos was his, totally beat and outclassed in every sense, what stopped floyd from coming on stronger and putting an end to it. why did he hold back when people were leaving their seats?? he already been out of danger for the previous 11 rounds maybe it was the time to step up, no?
i dont even want to talk about direll and stevens.
and i wouldnt force the rule for no ko no pay. i mean in the old days it would have been appropriate and somewhat of an incentive, but little unfair for the guy who trains for 2-3 month before getting into the ring to fight for 12 rounds.
neither one of these guys is a big puncher but as a viewer i have the freedom of choosing not to watch the fight. if i was a commisioner i wouldnt let hopkins fight, and if i was a promoter i wouldnt embarass myself by letting him out. in which case he's the promoter and he doesnt have a problem with shame. he's in his 40s and he's not gonna take risks. i dont want to see this guy in action anymore. and i know he's a fine example of a boring fighter, i dont feel that others should have to suffer the fate of not getting paid.Comment

DAMAGE! its not a dance contest! PUNCH the other guy in the face! cut him hurt him make him quit! IF you are a dominant fighter (boxer) KO his ass out! period! if i go 123,875 rounds with you and walk away unmarked.... you are NOT a great anything never mind P4P nothing!
