I voted draw, because I am wildly unqualified to make a decision in this fight, having only seen both of these guys about a couple of a times.

The combinations and technical skill in this fight would be awesome but at the end of the day I think Whitaker's defensive skills would win him the fight in a close decision.

Well first of all you have to throw out the fact that they were stablemates and Olympic teammates. That aside, Whitaker boxes Meldrick's ears off. I was shocked how many people picked Taylor to beat Mayweather, but I'll write that off as anti-Floyd sentiment. I followed the entire careers of both of these guys, and at no time did I doubt that Whitaker was the superior fighter. In a 12 round fight I'd pick Whitaker to win 117-113, giving Taylor some early rounds for outworking Whitaker. Honestly it wouldn't be as close as the scores.
