Byrd is sparring with Steve Cunningham to prepare for the Shaun George fight. George has two wins over Cunningham in the amateurs, though.

Byrd just looks........emaciated to me. Seeing a Heavyweight like him drop that much weight is odd, hope it works out for him though. Though I was never a fan of his.

If he's weighing 173 right now, why not fight SMW or even MW?

George is not much in the professionals. His record is terrible and against lesser opposition. My dream fight would be Dawson against Byrd. Two slick great pure boxers that would create a chess match.

It's definitely going to be interestin to see how Bryd performs at LHW. If he does well, it will be another name in the division. Had to laugh at Cunningham saying he thought he was smoking crack.

Good to see him at LH, he seems like a really nice guy.

I'd like to see him face Tarver.

I don't know what makes his record a terrible one. The fighter that he is wasn't suited for cruiserweight and now he's at a much more natural 175 pounds. He hasn't lost at that weight. He would've had a better resume' if fights with Eric Harding and other top guys didn't fall through last minute.
