One word: Vengeance. Honestly he has no chance of winning it though. He was in his prime and was doing damn good at Middleweight when Hopkins derailed him. Now he's over 5 years past his prime, highly overweight, inactive, and everything else.

My guess is he still thinks that he can knock Hopkins out with a well placed shot. He's living in fairytale land, Hopkins can't be knocked out.

I agree. Its weird though, its like Tito doesn't understand his limitations. Fighitng Hopkins is not a good idead, he should know that.

I'd have paid good money for Hopkins to throw another PR flag on the ground. Man, that made good television.

Trinidad's biggest problem is his style, he's so one-dimensional it's sad. Coming up the ranks he was amazing with his punching power and he certainly has some good highlight reels displaying that.

The problem is that he can't change anything he does, he's not able to switch his style if a fight isn't going his way to turn things around. He showed this against De La Hoya, Oscar murdered him for the first 8 rounds and he had literally nothing to answer with in return. The decision was bull**** as we all know, but it's old hat.

He showed his inability to change against against Hopkins and it cost him....dearly.

A rematch makes no sense for either guy IMO. Trinidad would lose, horribly. Hopkins would win, but why beat up a past his prime version of a guy you already KTFO in his prime years ago? To retire on a win? Weak.
