That's what I would think. He hadn't had a single positive moment in the third fight up to the point of the KO. He didn't look hurt, but I think he could figure out that he wasn't going to be beating Manny Pacquiao that night.

Pretty much everyone mentioned in this thread has been stunned/hurt in their career.

It's hard to think of one, even 'Tex' Cobb, Chuvalo and Hagler have been stunned a little. Hagler was the kind of a fighter who took one good shot and got hurt a little but after tasting his opponents power he was seemingly indestructible...

No one comes to mind, perhaps Oliver McCall but I haven't seen nearly all of his fights.

For those who say Vitali Klitschko, he was hurt by Sanders in the first round and the uppercut Lewis caught him with had him holding on.

Old JC Chavez was pummeled by Kostya Tszyu.

All he prime Morales fights I have seen though when he got hit he rallied back right away and returned the favor.
The cubans in particular train on throwing back punches every time they get hit.
            After awhile, it gets instinctive.

Doesn't mean they're not hurt though.

Donald Hoskins has never been stunned.. never even been hit during a professional boxing match..
He's just that good. It's no wonder he is undefeated.

I challenge everyone on this forum to name a fighter who has NEVER been stunned in there entire professional career. Don't say Floyd BTW because he was rocked by Castillo and Zab. So let's see it...
i dont remeber floyd being rocked by Castillo or Zab....but he def was by Chop Chop of all people.....so was Cotto, maybe Corley hits harder than we think lol
