Amir Khan should be facing a better opponent than Gomez

If Amir Khan is really such a talented fighter, he should be facing a better opponent than Gomez at this stage. Since the lightweight division is loaded with good fighters, he should have no problem finding a real contender to prove himself against.

Perhaps Warren is holding him back because he knows Khan is really not that good! He knows that Khan will lose when he faces a world-class opponent like Katsidis, Campbell, Pacquiao, or Juan Diaz.

Warren will protect Khan for a long time, I reckon.

Warren is milking the cow, simple as. As soon as Khan gets beat that's it.
The majority of Khan fans are non-boxing fans, they just go and watch him because of all the media hype. As soon as he gets beat, they'll stop going to watch him.

Gomez is by far the Hardest Hitter Khan has faced.. He however lacks the skills to deliver that power on Khan..

Another all too easy fight for khan.. if he gets Hit though.. We could have some surprises...

Yes, although poorly skilled, at least Gomez is not as feather-fisted as Khan's previous opponents. If he can land one good punch on Khan's delicate chin, Amir will go down.

Amir Khan will fight for a vacant title.. Now look at what Frank Warren did to Arthur now, he had a success of getting Arthur fighting for a vacant belt instead of facing Guzman because of the postponement which Guzman said never had problems with.... Warren will never let Khan fight Campbell.. Soon enough, Khan will be fighting a bum for a vacant title.. !

Khan just downgraded trainers while he finds a decent new one, it would be ****** of him to take a big fight while his training camp isn't as it should be.

Give Khan some time, when he gets a decent trainer we are gonna see what hes really got.

Gomez is done and should even be in there with Khan, Khan needs to forget the money right now and leave Warren.

He can stay though if he wants to make money but if he want to prove himself he needs to go to the states for the big fights and train there also.
