Great statement there hit the nail on the head.Cotto can throw those 3 punch body combination to the body of Margarito cleanly. It is very easy to hit Marg's body because of his style.. He is not a clincher so Cotto will have his chance of his bodywork.. What I notice Margarito doesn't use his height and reach to his advantage fighting smaller people.. He's just there throwing punches from different angles..
Cotto isnt daniel santos hes better lol and magerito seems to fold a bit when the other guy isnt afraid of him and is whacking away at him.
His lack of defense wil be his undueing but if cotto can kill magerito down the stretch then we wil see his face change.
The interesting thing is they both relay on the fight going on then it being a short fight both long distance guys relaying on body shots.
My predictions cotto tko 12th imo or a ud depends how cotto can handle his style.Comment

What cats around here seem to forget and take for granted is Cotto's underrated footwork.
Love the way his feet line up before throwing every punch..
If need be Cotto can box circles around Margarito and stick that stiff jab down his throat..Comment

i do think cotto will win this fight.. a UD to be exact..
lets not forget, cintron is a explosive, power puncher and possible the hardest puncher in the sport.. he did land SOME bombs on Marg, and marg smiled..
i do think that Margarito will be able to take them shots, and keep moving foward..
lets be rational and reasonable.. this one is going the distance.. too risky for cotto to mix it up and **** with marg.. look for him to outbox marg, just the way clottey did in the opening rounds..
any takers for bets? on cotto ud?Comment

Cotto is tough aswell and faster then magerito with inside work he wont wait for magerito on the inside to land.i do think cotto will win this fight.. a UD to be exact..

I believe he can mix it up on the inside if he keeps his defenses and cotto is pretty tough to.Comment

Damn Sterling, your hate for Margarito is beyond anything I've ever seen on the boxing scene. You should be ashamed...Magerito got hurt by daniel santos who doesnt hit as hard as cotto and ended up losing the whole fight.
I think once he gets hurt he sort of loses mentally because after he was hurt he ended up losing all the rounds after that round.
So this is surppose to be the most feared boxer? a guy who losses to daniel santos live on hbo? i really do think cotto wil smash him to pieces because of his wide defense.
Also we all know if cotto gets hurt he wil jus regroup very quickly and box like he did with judah etc..
Did i mentioned daniel is from puerto rico? jus like miguel? hmm

Margarito has never made any excuse when he has got buzzed in fights, Cotto seems to dig up the weight drained excuse as to why guys at 140 were dropping him.
Look Santos was a light heavyweight the night those two fought, Sure Santos won and did so with in the rules of the sport, but there is a difference in being stopped on cuts from a punch and going to the cards due to a clash of heads.
what you all fail to realize is that Tony was taking the fight over, Santos was on his way out the commission in Puerto Rico screwed Margarito in the end, the scoring was for the Puerto Ricans favor when most had Tony ahead.
Now this is comming from a Puerto Rican so you really cant say I am being biased here.
However yeah keep using these kinds of ****** arguements to help you feel better, Cottos chin is going to be tested at 147 by a true power puncher at 147 who is not at the end of his career.Comment
