You, my friend, are correct. It's so obvious, I'm surprized people even respond to it seriously.Comment

They were selling like hot cakes at Cotto-Judah in MSG. Then when team Cotto left (them as$holes, like the as$holes they are) they threw out hundreds of them from the bus and i ended up with like 30 Cotto head bands and his autograph on my ticket. And Miguel Diaz took a pic with me, in my avatar, Cotto was rushed through so quick. He signed stuff while he was walking but they pushed him through so fast.Comment

OO that's cool. Hopefully they sell them at the Marg v Cotto fight so I can buy one. They were selling like hot cakes at Cotto-Judah in MSG. I was looking to get a custom one made though that said "Voodoo Child" Aguirre and another that said "Caldito De Chile"Comment

I think your whole story would have been written with a complete opposite meaning if he was fighting Floyd instead of Margarito. That is y I never take you seriously.A lot of people can come up with a story like this and make some **** up and post it on a forum and we would never know if it's true or not, but let's give you the benefit of the doubt and believe your story.
Miguel Cotto does not seem like a likeable, friendly guy at all. The stern and serious demeanor he carries all the time I believe is his true personality, it's not for show or to scare people, he is just a complete *******. He always comes off as arrogant and condescending, he speaks only when asked and I think a piece of rock has more personality than he does, at least to my eyes.
So based on what I've seen of Cotto I believe your story, but I'm sure his other fans would cry heretic and torch me at the stake by me saying this.
The guy has always been respectfull towards interviewers, his opponents, and even his critics. He is a class act inside and outside of the ring as we all have seen. All of a sudden a bitter "fan" (who never was) comes up with a imaginary cotto incounter and everyone jumps on it. I don't know about u guys but I'd rather believe in what I have seen than what is being claimed by some guy who has criticised cotto in the bast.Comment

Cotto is not an ******* but he does rarely acknowledges his fans when you meet him, that's his personality I guess, he can't change it.
Two of my friends had the same thing happen to them last year at a basketball game, they saw Cotto in the parking lot and they yelled at him and he just raised his hand and just waived it cheapishly.Comment

i respect cotto so much more after reading this...what a total *******. I spotted him with his wife in the parking lot of a shopping center here, and I yelled "Champ! Mind if I take a picture witchu?" His wife smiled at me and said "Sure, sure!", but Cotto slowly turned his head and looked PISSED, like if he did NOT want to do it.
At least he did pose for the picture, bigger *******s wouldn't have done that, but he didn't even look at me, talk, smile, shake my hand, or anything. As he walked away, I said "good look against Margarito", and not only did he not say thanks, he didn't even turn back to recognize I spoke.
I had always defended him when people called him a ****, I said he just had a serious demeanor but he was a nice guy. I was completely WRONG. What a sharp contrast to Tito and Ivan Calderon, two of the nicest PEOPLE you could ever hope to meet. Cotto just lost a fan today.Comment

I think enough time has passed that we can correctly label the thread starter as full of ****.
Why would you make up such drivel?Comment
Just make sure you don't get caught!
