Donaire has an awful time making weight. He went to down to fight Darchinyan so this would be an ideal match up.
But Mijares has other business to take care of right now, a unification fight.

Donaire has good skills depending on his shape he could give Mijares a battle but Mijares is the better boxer overall.

I like Donaire, but I think Mijares would just be too much. He's slick and offensively can light it up.

It would be a badass fight if it happened. Mijares is too big for Donaire and has better boxing skills. Donaire is a great counterpuncher though and if there was going to be a knockout in this fight...it would come from Donaire...otherwise Mijares by unanimous decision.
