but it kind of touches on something that is wrong with today's boxing fans IMO. It seems like we are now so conditioned to look down upon anyone who has a loss on their record that it's almost impossible for a fighter to gain respect. It seems like for many fighters once they have a loss or a few losses on their record us as fans tend to look down upon them yet we have seen quite a few fighters of late redeem themselves inspite of having a loss or more. Guys like Nate Campbell, Verno Phillips, Hopkins etc has kind of shown us that sometimes losses aren't an indication a fighter is bad or not worth respecting.
