well they are fighting so we will see. I personaly think Cotto brings more to the table and is over all more talented then MARG. but who has Cotto fought at 147 that is prime and brings it like MARGO BRINGS IT. Cotto will have to go 12 rounds with MARGO and he wont hurt him guarenteed.

Is this the best argument and excuses you guys can come up with? "Margarito loss to Williams and Daniel Santos, therefore he is a bum" it's pointless to argue with you people.

True for the most part you have an arguement in favor of Cotto! However Cotto has been rocked by Zab Judah, he has been hurt by Shane Mosley, he has been on the deck by Torres, when is the last time you have seen Margarito on the deck?
and he has fought much bigger men and bigger punchers, Cintron can punch and I beleive he hits harder than anybody that Cotto has ever faced, Tony walked right through them shots and murdered Kermit.
if Cotto stays inside with Tony too long, he will get knocked out, Cottos best shot is to get in rip the body and get the **** back out, if he trys to fight fire with fire, well thats Tonys game.
Cotto can win this fight, but there are alot of questions regarding Cotto going in, Can he fight with someone putting that kind of pressure or does he fold? can he handle being hit by a true power punching welter weight? does he have the paitence to box when he gets cracked with a good shot, or does he try to pay Tony right back.
bottom line is this is a pick em fight, I think Cotto can win and should based on his ability to box, But how is he going to box the taller man from the outside where that right hand is most dangerous? Cotto is going to have to get inside run off shots and get out the way.
I think that Tonys chances are just as good even though his footwork sucks dog ****. if Tony works that uppercut on the inside he can catch Miguel when Miguel leans forward he is wide open for that shot and that shot is Tonys favorite.

I ain't getting offended patna', I'm just sick of all the Cotto nuthuggers using the same argument to try and discredit Margarito's boxing abilities "He lost to Williams and Daniel Santos LOL what a bum" don't try to sugarcoat it.

He may not "hurt" him but... Margaritos eyes will hurt and so will his mouth, gums etc they will "hurt."

TKO is a good prediction. I can't see margarito fighting on with his eyes shut and swollen. Cotto too talented. This will be a fun fight to watch but Cotto wins.

Cotto couldnt stop MAlginanggi and he broke his orbital bone. No way he stops MARGO.

Well its obvious Cotto wont stop Tony with a shot to the head, we dont know what will happen with some good body work from Cotto which is probably the only chance Cotto has in this fight, but to get to that body Cotto must be willing to risk his chin being dented again, we know Cottos been rocked by lesser ****ers, Margarito is the first Power Punching Welter Weight that Cotto has faced and he is not up there in age, and he puts mad pressure on everybody he fights, can Cotto even deal with that?
