i have never noticed it until i watched just then, that floyd backs into the corner a few times and hatton follows him with his right hand low. mayweather had been setting the hook up for a few rounds before he actually put hatton down.

I agree Floyd is a great body puncher he even proped Oscar with some nice rips , like you say he is really under rated in his body attack .

Yeah, I remember that left hook to DLH's body in the 10th. It was just the most telling but PBF keeps a consistent body attack well when he does throw punches he mixes up body shots. Especially that left hook to body and body jab.

He also stopped Mitchell to the body..and Hit Brusseles with a killer body shot.

Yeah I notced that the first couple of times I re watched the fight.....

Mayweather is clearly the smartest fighter in the sport.....he was getting hit with the check hook as well every time just not perfect then Floyd caught him with the perfect punch.

Yeah, I think he caught him pinpoint with it a couple of times, just 2 factors changed. 1) Hatton was more worn down 2) that turnbuckle.

I think Hatton would've been stopped at some point in the fight anyway, he was getting hit too cleanly and too often since the 8th. Even if that hook never landed Hatton would've been KO'd or ref/corner would've stopped it.

Hatton was almost allowed to fight back at some points as well. Once Cortez took a point away Ricky went for broke and got caught.

I was not impressed with this fight nor did I waste my time watching that youtube video.
