Linares and Gamboa are the future of boxing in my eyes as of right now. I want to see either one of them in there with Edwin Valero for some guaranteed fireworks.

now, im not saying Gamboa isnt skilled, no where in my post do i indicate that, but from what i've seen, the intagibles, the experience at this current moment seems to favor Linares.

Linares definitely has the potential to be a very good and even a great fighter. I think him and Gamboa are going to rule the lighter weight divisions in the future.

Linares is already a champion and tested while Gamboa has not... im getting sick of the Gamboa hype.

its not hype, look at his amateur career. He's the truth. he's like 10 fights in and already looking to take on whoever because he and his team know he is ready for anything.

Yeah they both are damn good. Gamboa is more athletic, but Linares is technically sound. I think both of them would destroy Valero.

Gamboa is new on the block but he's 63 years old. Linares is only 22 and a more well rounded talent who has shown us a little of everything at this point already. Jorge took out Ghost Guerrero's conqueror in brutal fashion. Raw.

This kid is for real, got skills and power. He is a thinking fighter who works with surgical precision. Already an interim champion after beating champion, this kid will become a champ very soon. On a side note, he gave pacman some beatings in a sparring so the idea that he may have the tools to beat pac right now is valid .

Edit: Since In Jin Chi gave up his WBC featherweight title, jorge is now a full time champion.
