Showtime is REALLY working overtime to try to become THE Boxing network

They are showing fights every day @ 10pm Eastern. they did the documentary for the Vazquez/Marquez Trilogy. they're doing the right thing as far as trying to lure the HBO boxin fan to watch their network. they realized that showing boxing instead of movies no one wants to see is more beneficial. i just have a problem with their commentators. i'm fine with the commentators that did the vazquez/marquez fights but there are some other dudes just sound like they're covering a golf tournament.

Showtime always gets the sloppy seconds tho, HBO gets the blockbusters but i'd alwys have a place in my heart for showtime cuz of the Castillo Corrales fights, but talk about no love, even Glen Johnson forgot he was on Showtime LOL

Showtime gets some good fights but I still like HBO's fight shows just a little better.

Exactly. Showtime matches up there fighters more evenly making for better fights. HBO has a bunch of lopsided fights with guys picked to showcase the house fighter.

Showtime makes its champions fight better, riskier competition in general. HBO builds guys up for PPV's.

(Not all the time for the most part).

I like HBO's shows much better. But competition is always a good thing for the consumer.
