He looked good in parts I think it was the first three rounds he had a nice tight defence he was blocking shots and nailing Johansson with uppercuts.

Then I can only suggest that he got nailed and hurt in the 4th or 5th I think it was that made him change tactics due to some kind of innate machismo response....lol.

Love fighters like that though. Joe Calzaghe used to be like that.

Mitchell is my favourites Brit prospect but I think Khan and Appleby might be slightly better than him.

Thats the thing. We know what Mitchell is going to do now.

I'd say Johansson hit Mitchell three times as hard and far more often than Limond hit Khan.

Mitchell walked onto some bombs no question.

He won't get hurt all the time Warren is his promoter mate.

Limond kind of hurt him but not really, I think he'll have his hands full against Gomez but it should be a ko win for Khan.

Look at the fighters in Kevin Mitchells Div. he hasn't got a ****in chance. He may as well give up and go back to being a full time chav.

Yep I like Mitchells self-confidence and I like his toolbox, but he might like to scrap a bit too much and chop some years from his longevity. I see some paralells between him and Arthur from 2001/2002

Applebys a good one to watch, I saw him on the Anderson-McIntyre undercard, he's fast as hell, tremendous bodypuncher, but he throws his shots too widely and leaves himself open. That bum caught him a couple of times, against JOHN SIMPSON who it looks is up next he might be in deeper trouble; possibly worth a sucker bet at the bookies

You kinda proved my point im not sure if you were agreeing but Khan hasn't really had a challenge, i'd rather see someone struggle (perhaps learn more) than skip their way to the top a la Khan.
I think the route Khan will go down will prove tougher than Mitchell's ultimately so if he makes it then he will have earnt it no doubt.

How did I prove your point??

My point was Mitchell is no where near the same class as khan, he's had one good fight and everyone loves him. Look at the people in his division, he hasn't got a hope.
Khan has a chance of standing out in his weight class, I don't think he's ready for a world title yet but maybe early next year, he's younger than Mitchell, classier than Mitchell and not a ****y prick like Mitchell, all he needs to do is ditch Warren and he can be a great export.
