only bad thing ive ever seen is a 200+lbs russian being told to keep the power down, then almost crushing his 135lb sparring partners face with a right hook

I rememeber hearing a story of how James Toney shoved Micheal Katz down in the gym because they were talking **** to each other. It messed up Katz neck pretty bad he had to wear one of those goofy neck braces for a long ass time.

stick around a gym long enough and you'll see people go into the gym thinking they can throw down with boxer who have been there for months

That **** happens all the ****ing time, I mean people come in with the old I once boxed before story and then the **** really starts they brag about having an undefeated record etc.. once they get in the ring they get exposed and they usally dont come back to the gym after the beating they get.
I hate to see when people do that becuase you already know just by the way they move around in there that they dont have any experience, and it makes me a bit worried when I see them gearing up to spar, its almost as if I go to the fridge and get the ice ready for them.
There was a kid who came in telling me he boxed in the marines and that he was 16-0 as an amateur then I over heard him telling one of our amateurs there that he was 13-0 I wasnt shocked though I knew he was full of ****, he kept asking the other trainer there to let him spar with my kid, and finally he got his wish and damn near got dropped by a jab, seriously his legs were like wet noodles and he is 13-0 or 16-0 what ever he never came back thats for sure.
