Obviously manfredo isn't p4p material (or even close for that matter)...

his best achievements (as far as beating notable opponents go) are winning the rematch against gomez and winning against david banks...

beyond that he's lost whenever he steps up in competition (ie. mora; lacy; calzaghe)...but you cant come down too hard on him for losing to calzaghe; i mean calzaghe is ranked in the top 3 p4p...manfredo was more of a tune-up fight than a legitimate fight and you know it.

i'd rather see guys like Peter Manfredo Jr. on ESPN rather than guys that dont deserve to be there...He gets people to show up and watch him fight and to me i'd rather see him on ESPN rather than the protected "prospect" of the month who later gets exposed and we never here of again.

I really don't like Manfredo and I have no idea why? I am strangely interested to watch him fight.

I think I scored the Lacy fight for him.

I like Manfredo alot, he's a humble guy who's just tryin to get paid for his family, I really want him to at least go from Regional Champ to serious contender but SMW is stacked now. His loss to Mora was a bs desicion that I thot he should have won and obviously Calzaghe is better then him but the fact he couldnt beat an already past prime Lacy means he prolly never will rise to the big stage

It seems like people subconsciously want to dis him BECAUSE of that TV show he was on. There are PLENTY of guys on ESPN week after week who are no better than Peter and nobody says anytihng about it. Peter is not a TV star, he is a solid 160/168 pounder who draws attention and is on TV. Forget about the TV show he was on, that's OVER WITH
To bad his chin isnt solid rofl and i dnt know what people see about him hes pretty slow also doesnt pack alot of punch to keep any guy off for long.

Manfredo/Mora I--I think it was a closer fight then most people think it was and I guess this one could go to Mora but i thought DRAW.

Manfredo/Mora II--Manfredo won this fight no questions

Manfredo/Lacy--Maybe Lacy by a round, maybe Manfredo by a round or maybe a draw?

Manfredo/Calzaghe--Calzaghe was probably gonna whoop him but Manfredo wasn't hurt, Calzaghe didn't land one clean punch. Manfredo could have been waiting for Calzaghe to get tired or break his hand or something and then poor on some offense but he didn't throw any punches or get hit by any clean punches...Bottom Line Bad Stoppage but probably unwinable fight.

Anyone know why he didn't fight on ESPN2 on Friday? He was on the espn.com boxing schedule one day and then off the next? Did he get hurt or did they never find an opponent or what? A fight with Allan Green on some upcoming PPV undercard would be nice.
