    How Good is Timothy Bradley?

I thought Timothy Bradley looked great in his fight against Witter. Granted Witter looked sluggish and poor but I don't think that should Disparage Bradley's performance. Usually, when a guy wins a fight BoxingScene declares him the second coming of Christ.. but this doesn't seem to be the case this time. I thought he showed stamina, athleticism, footwork and power.. What did everyone else think?

I'm not sure if it was Witter looking bad or Bradley looking good. I'll wait and see his next few fights before I make a decision about him, he did impress me with his solid skills and composure in his first title fight in his opponent's backyard though.

I think its because most people hate Witter or thought he looked old but even so i though Bradley did well i was impressed with his head movement and i think he will be one of the top 140 for the next few years.

Pretty good, I think Malignaggi would probably beat him, Hatton would also beat him. But he throws a mean right hand and he works hard. He listens to his corner and he's patient; strong defence. Even when Witter threw some big shots they mostly hit Tims guard

I have seen Bradley fight at Double Tree inn in ontario california a bunch of times in fact the Owner of the gym I work at is the Vice Chairman of the WBC and he has very close ties to Thompson promotions who are the promoters of Bradley.
Whats this mean? Not a god damn thing I think he will lose his title if he fights anybody with a heartbeat.

I haven't seen enough of him but it's not really a great surprise that he defeated Witter. I've been telling anyone who would listen for some time that Witter isn't as great as some people think.

I was extremely impressed with him. He has a nice high guard and does all the basics very well. He kept ****ing that solid right hand and he seems to carry decent power even though his record doesn't really suggest that. I was also impressed with his stamina as in the championship rounds he was still fresh.

But...Witter was not at the races that night. I knew he had a problem with consistancy, but on Saturday he didn't seem to know what to do. He wasn't listening to his corner and seemed disheartened as his dream fight with Hatton started to fade away. I'll keep an eye on Bradley and see how he does, I reakon he could be around for a long time.

Not good enough to beat Hatton.

I watched Bradley on Showtime on a couple of occasions (against Garnica and another fella I think) and he looked like a solid fighter, but I didn't see anything that would tell me he's a top 3-5 fighter in any division. Well built (no ****), strong fighter with a good right hand. The win over Witter is nice, but I'm still skeptical.

It'd be hard for me to pick him over guys like Kendall Holt, Ricky Hatton and Malignaggi. Hell, I don't even know if he'd beat a guy like Juan Urango. I think the only sure guy in the division (unless Floyd ruined him or something) is Ricky Hatton.

i think bradley is an elite in that divison... although he wasnt rated that high.. he proved that he is saturday...

a bit of a contradiction. if witter just failed to show up then bradley still has a ways to go before being considered an elite Junior Welterweight.
