Calzaghe looked terrible in that fight. He has no right to brag about beating a 43-fighter in the twilight of his career who clearly faded badly. The ease with which a 2001 Bernard would have dispatched Joe is quite amusing.

Wow, OP please get over Calzaghe beating Hopkins at 43 years of age. Hopkins has dominated legends of the ring. Calzaghe beat Tokker Pudwell.

I'm from England and I support/ am a fan of Calzaghe and Hopkins is deffinitely not my boy. I like to see classic boxing with clean ferocious punching. That's why I like watching great overseas fighters such as Mayweather, The Pacman, Cotto and our own David Haye. Our top fighters in England have styles I don't like apart from the Hayemaker. I want to see boxing, not 12 rounds of holding from Hatton and semi-slaps from Calzaghe (I know this is not the case in all his fights, obviously he gave Kessler a beating the good old fashioned way).
